Work on Zyncc Analysis Engine (ZAE), helping hundreds of companies automate IT licensing analysis and optimize software asset management.
Served as platform engineer for Zyncc Analysis Engine,
supporting data analysis applications that provide clients
with actionable insights into software usage,
configuration, and licensing.
Key Achievements:
- Implemented an inactivity detection and auto-shutdown mechanism for VMs and Kubernetes clusters, reducing daily compute costs by around 55–60% while maintaining service reliability.
- Co-built an internal infrastructure management API that unified control across AWS and Azure, allowing teams to toggle power states, access storage, and provision new resources through a single interface.
- Refactored shared infrastructure logic into reusable private Python packages and established CI/CD pipelines for automated publishing, semantic versioning, and AI-generated release notes.
- Helped lead the move from Azure to AWS, proactively surfacing platform issues and defining secure patterns for secrets storage and configuration management across environments.
- Operated as a cross-functional engineer in a small team: handled on-call support, fixed critical production issues, implemented backend features, built internal front-end tools and custom reports, and contributed to licensing logic when needed.
- Partnered with the Product Owner to refine roadmap items, prioritize critical technical debt, and improve documentation for platform components and developer workflows.
